As part of the Four on Four exhibit, I created a portrait of Sebastian based on answers to a questionnaire comprised of 16 questions. The information from which I drew upon for the installation includes:



I placed an ad in the Lost and Found section of the Tampa Tribune for on week before the show opened; it read

Lost: Two Parents, One is Polynesian, One is Puerto Rican. If found, please return to Sebastian at the Oliver Gallery from 7-9 pm

I added the newspaper ads to the installation of Mother & Father Verification Forms to fictitiously search for his unknown parents; It is as if he is taking interviews

This was the beginning of my interest in cast-off materials with uniformity that have a potential to be something else. Aluminum foil is delicate and retains the sculptural memory of something it is wrapped around. I have contradicted the wasteful use of aluminum foil with the destruction/extinction of trees. Recycling is always a current social issue
